If anyone has any questions about the Naval NCP program please don't hesitate to contact me! I remember how confusing it was for me and all I wanted was real information from a real person, other than my recruiter. You can email me at [email protected] with any questions or comment on the site. Hope to hear from many future navy nurses! :)
Hello all! My name is Amanda Brock and I started this blog to help others gain information about the Naval NCP program. I remember when I was first looking into the program and I could not find very much information on the internet. Besides the main Navy website there was NOTHING out there. Thank goodness I did come across a blog by a current naval nurse which can be found here. Carolyn is super helpful and has tons of knowledge so make sure to check out her blog. She gave me tons of information on the NCP program and helped me actually make my decision to apply and join the Navy. I applied last year, was notified in December and signed my initial enlistment paperwork on January 7, 2015. Since then I have just been trying to keep up with nursing school, I only have a little over 3 months left! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I should graduate in November and hope to join the fleet by January 2016. :)

Hi Amanda! I am so happy to find your blog, the only NCP blog I could find was the same one you found by Carolyn. I've been in the program for one full year now, I joined the fall of my junior year and I graduate nursing school in May of 17 and hopefully ODS in August! I'm so excited to read through your blog and see what the next year of my life might look like. Thanks for writing, I really appreciate it!

Hi Amanda. I'm so blessed to have found your blog. I'm currently in the process of applying to this program. I'm meeting with the recruiter next week. Your blog has answered so many of the questions I had plus more. Thank you for being honest and taking your sweet time to do this. I've been reading for nearly 2 hours now. Lol.
