Another new development is that I signed up for Kaplan's NCLEX prep course through my school. The class is optional and at first I didn't know if I wanted to do it. But after seeing the presentation and really thinking about it I decided to pay for it. I figured even though I get really good grades and pass all my predictor exams I should do everything I can to make sure I pass the exam. So I forked out the $379 dollars for it. :/ When I take it I will keep you guys posted on the experience and whether I recommend it for NCLEX prep or not.
Anyways the week went by WAY too fast and I can't believe in only a couple of weeks I will be starting my last class in nursing school! Everything is happening so fast! But not fast enough! :) I haven been obsessed with looking up information about Japan since I found out that is where I will be stationed. The more research I do the more excited I get to start this adventure! The food, culture, and hospitality of the Japanese people is amazing and I want to immerse myself in it. I have been lucky enough to either know or meet quite a few people who were previously stationed in Japan so I have been able to get a lot of good first hand information. It sounds like I will be able to live off base and I was very glad to hear that. I want to get the full Japanese experience and living out in town will help me do that! :) Hope everyone is doing well and I know my posts are not very exciting and Navy related right now but believe me I am looking forward to more Navy related posts as much as you guys are! Hold tight by the end of the year I should have more experience!
